Meet the woman behind the brand

THE BEGINNING

In 2020, I was a mother to five children and an Industrial Repair Tech working through an apprenticeship program to receive my Journeyman's card. Everything was going smoothly until the global pandemic hit and I was laid off from my job of almost 5 years so they could let temps work since they paid them less. I had five young mouths to feed with no way of getting a job due to the covid pandemic.

I used my unemployment to pay my bills with very little money left for groceries. I was barely eating to make sure my kids were fed. I woke up one day with a determined outlook to change things. After tons of research I bought a cheap sublimation printer and heat press with what little savings I had left stored away. Then I started an ETSY shop in hopes to one day be able to branch out on my own. Thus, Ink and Soul Creations was born.

THE START OF SOMETHING NEW

It took a while but my shop had a viral shirt that took off from a book club on facebook. It escalated from there and the success was overwhelming at that time. My job called me back and I wanted to finish my apprenticeship to show my kids what you can do if you put your mind to something.

I worked both jobs until it came to a screeching halt in May of 2021. I had found out that, even after a tubal ligation 7 years prior, I was expecting. But not just one baby. I was expecting my second set of multiples, but instead of another set of twins, I was expecting triplets.

I was immediately placed on high risk assessment but continued to work both jobs until I had to pick. I chose to finish my apprenticeship and to hopefully come back to my dream later.

I earned my Journey's Card and after a very dangerous early delivery at 26 weeks and multiple health issues with my new babies, I am back. I want become successful again and resurface like a phoenix to be able to be there for my children more than wasting away my life in a factory.

I purchased a DTF Printer and all the things needed to have a successful print company without the limitations of sublimation. It was a learning curve but everyone starts somewhere. Now after years of work we are coming back to make our brand known again.

OUR LOGO

Our logo was created with my children in mind. It may seem simple and childish but they love popping bubbles. With that in mind and the joy that brings them all, I centered my logo around a bubble being blown. It helps remind me when I look at it that even though it is something so trivial, it can amount to something big.
